Beyeux makes personalised embroidered wall art from your photographs. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.
Your photos
When you use the preview tool or place an order, the photo you choose is sent from your browser to our server, which passes it to OpenAI's image service to create your Bayeux-style scene. Your photo itself is held in memory only for the seconds the conversion takes and is not stored. The converted artwork is kept on our server so it can be linked to your order and your hanging can be made; artwork that is never ordered is deleted within 90 days. OpenAI keeps abuse-monitoring logs of API use for up to 30 days.
Google processes the image to provide the conversion. Google's own privacy terms apply to that processing.
Orders and payment
When ordering opens, payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We keep the order details needed to make and post your hanging: your name, delivery address, email and the artwork for your order.
Analytics and advertising
We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on this site. If we add them, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Email us at the address below for any of these.
